PALO NHS FOUNDATION DAY

O n December 14, 2023, The 30th Founding Anniversary was held. To introduce the opening of the Founding Anniversary, the school principal, Ma'am Betsy Grace V. Navarette gives a heartfelt invitation speech for all the alumni of Palo National High School.  Reaching out to all Palonians inviting them to attend the Foundation Celebration, furthermore, to participate in the upcoming competitions held by the school. The Founding Anniversary has it's own activities including a parade, which had students looking forward to. Forrest Gump, Movie/Book Review

      H ave you ever wondered what it feels like to be an intellectually disabled man? Meet Forrest Gump (acted by Tom Hanks), an intellectually challenged man that is harshly treated by the community around him due to his disability becoming an outcast at an early age is an issue Gump faces.        Forrest Gump is a novel written by Winston Groom in 1986, popularized by an Oscar winning  film made by Robert Zemeckis in 1994 with the same title name. Though Gump is a fictional character, the film still depicts the hardships that people with disabilities face on a daily basis.        When Gump was a child, he had a curved spine meaning he had to wear leg braces to fix the curvature of his spine.
